Valentina Lorenzoni
Valentina Lorenzoni is researcher in Biostatistics at the Institute of Management of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, Italy and as biostatistician she is also consultant for the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), Lyon, France. In the past ten years, she has worked on a variety of national and international (FP7, H2020 EU programs) projects relating to the evaluation of healthcare intervention both in terms of effectiveness and their health-economics implications.
Her interests include the use of statistical methods for the analysis of data coming from administrative databases, the application of statistical models to evaluate prognostic factors in cardiovascular patients, the impact of lifestyle and health intervention on health, methods and approaches for the assessment of the economic impact of diseases and health interventions.
She has authored and co-authored several papers.
